According to Larry David, it’s too late to say happy new year, but we’re gonna do it anyway.

Happy New Year! 🎉 

Last year was a lucky one. Our first ever event (re: hang) in September of 2024 totaled a whopping 5 people, and throughout 2025 our monthly gatherings consistently included 20+ lovely San Diegans all across the city.

The consistency and intention from all of you to show up, make friends, and bring that type of creative energy to the function that the homies really appreciate is what makes it special. Keep that up. 

We ventured from bonfires and mini golf to local venues like Brokers Gallery, The US Grant Hotel, and The Gutter. We’ve gotten interactive with partners like Lucky Folk Collective and Downtown San Diego, and the best part of it all is that people partnered together and brought real projects to life in 2025 and beyond. The dream!

You know it by now but the goal was always to bring people together and build a network of resources to put projects in the world, while promoting small businesses and entrepreneurs throughout San Diego. 

(Oh and if you’ve been lurking on the newsletter but haven’t come to an event yet, this is for you. Yes you. What are you doing? Call a friend and come hang. You’re gonna love it. Promise.)

Who knows what 2026 will bring! We’ve found the best cadence to be one month at a time, and that’s the approach as we kick off the new year.
